PURPOSE:To enlarge the angle of deflection by locating a blade in such a manner that a flow is caused to adhere to a guide wall, in a flow deflecting device having a nozzle for generating a flow, a guide wall disposed downstream therefrom and a blade. CONSTITUTION:A flow deflecting device 13 comprising a nozzle portion 18 and a blade 19 having a shaft 20 on the longitudinal center line passing the center of a nozzle width, wherein, at least a portion of the blade 19 is disposed downstream from a nozzle 18. When the blade 19 is turned, a flow D is caused to adhere to a guide wall 22 by a Coanda effect and go along a tangent at X-position, and a combined flow becomes a flow F directing to the right by interacting attraction caused between the flows D, E. Thus, the regulating force to a flow from the nozzle is applied to the lower course of the flow, the deflecting angle of a flow can be enlarged by attracting and guiding effect due to adhering flow, and the deflecting angle can be controlled continuously. |
