PURPOSE:To improve the reliability at the time of writing information by detecting the inside temperature of the tightly closed section of a magnetic disk device, in which a magnetic head and magnetic medium are loaded, and controlling the writing current value to the most suitable current value at the detected temperature. CONSTITUTION:In a figure, 1 is a disclosure (DE), in which a magnetic head 2, head IC3, and magnetic disk which is not shown in the figure, and so forth are loaded in a tightly closed condition and the 4 is a temperature sensor provided in the DE1. The 5 of the figure is a writing current controlling circuit to be connected with the head IC3 and a controller 6. The temperature sensor 4 detects the temperature in the DE1 and sends a signal to the writing current controlling circuit 5 so that the writing current value is automatically set to the most suitable current value at the detected temperature. Since information writing can always be done with the most suitable current value even when the inside temperature of the DE, etc., fluctuates and the phase margin can be increased, it is possible to improve the reliability of the magnetic disk device. |
