PURPOSE:To obtain feeling of spread sound even when a sufficient distance between speakers is not obtained by providing a sound propagation direction controller refracting the sound incident from each speaker in a crossing direction in a listening section and propagating it to both sides of a partition wall. CONSTITUTION:The controllers 6, 6 are fitted to both sides of the partition wall 2 so that the sound from the controllers crosses at a listening position A in the listening section 4. Thus, the sound from the speaker 5 is incident in the rear face of the controller 6, where the sound is refracted and propagated to the listening position A. In this state, a virtual image 9 of the speaker 5 appears on an extension line tying the listening position A and the controller 6. Thus, the listener at the listening position A feels as if the sound were irradiated from the virtual image 9 and the distance between the speakers is felt wider than the actual distance. That is, the feeling of spread stereo sound is improved. |
