PURPOSE:To trace a line without the occurrence of an error by allowing a communication control processor which composes and decomposes transmit and receive bits on time-division basis to check the transmit and receive bits by utilizing a monitoring device for diagnosis. CONSTITUTION:A line controlling part 2-1 scans lines successively and sends transmit and receive bits to a selective extracting circuit 11 together with a timing signal. The circuit 11 selects the transmit and receive bits and timing signal of a specific line according to an address from the control part 2-1 and sends them to a character decomposing and composing circuit 12. The circuit 12 composes characters by a character composing method indicated by the monitoring device 3. A character comparing circuit 14 detects a prescribed character string according to the indication of the monitoring device 3 and sends an indication to a character writing circuit 13 to store the composed character string in a specific address of the memory 3-1 of the monitoring device 3. |
