PURPOSE:To improve work efficiency by a method that plural belts which are each wound on individual drums and ends of which suspended parts are rubbed against and mingled with sand in a hollow pipe are vertically installed, and a driving mechanism and a detector detecting the length of the belts pulled out are also installed. CONSTITUTION:On drums 3 and 3' mounted on a hollow pipe 1 or a related machine, belts 2 and 2' are respectively wound. Parts of the belts 2 and 2' not wound hang down in the hollow pipe 1. A driving mechanism pulling out, winding and stopping the movement of the belts as well as a detector detecting the length of the belts pulled out are each attached to the drums 3 and 3'. As each end of suspended parts of the belts is rubbed against and mingled with sand 4 in the pipe, and moves together with the sand, the descending length of sand 4 in the pipe is made equal to the length of the belts 2 and 2' pulled out according to the descent of sand 4 in the pipe. Therefore, even at the time of refilling the sand, the sand piles can be continuously manufactured. |
