PURPOSE:To decrease the analyzer's burden in the stage of adjusting a mass spectrometer by measuring preliminarily the movement of the center of a mass peak when resolving power is changed and correcting automatically the mass change according to setting of the resolving power on the data thereof. CONSTITUTION:A CPUC feeds a control signal to a quadrupole power source E to change a DC voltage U and a high-frequency AC voltage having amplitude V. The CPUC multiplies a coefft. K by the data of the amplitude V to calculate mass M from the value V by M=KV and displays the value M on a display device D. Since the value K changes with the setting of resolving power, the data on the relation K=f(R) between the resolving power R and K is actually measured and is preliminarily stored in the CPUC and the mass M is immediately dispalyed as M=f(R)V according to the set R. R is determined by U/V and therefore M is displayed as M=g(U/V)V as the data for the set resolving power. g(U/V) is preliminarily stored as g(U/V)=A(U/V)<2>+B(U/V)+C by determining A, B, C with the actual measurement. |
