PURPOSE:To open and close a sensor by no-touch and also no-contact point mechanically, by detecting a rotation of a rotary shaft by a permanent magnet for generating a magnetic field in the diameter direction of the rotary shaft, and a Hall IC contained in a housing. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary shaft 1 rotates, permanent magnets 8a, 8b provided on a bush 2 inserted and attached to the shaft 1 also rotate, and a Hall IC13 generates one square pulse by a rotating magnetic field generated by the magnets 8a, 8b. The IC13 is placed at the bottom part of a sensor housing 6 and also in the vicinity of the magnets 8a, 8b, and makes the IC13 execute an on/off operation by a magnetic field in the diameter direction of the shaft 1. In this way, the IC13 detects a rotation of the shaft 1. |
