PURPOSE:To merge control information in data and to transmit them without decreasing transmission efficiency nor increasing the transmission cost by substituting part of data on an NRZ code with data on an RZ code, and superposing the control information on this data on the RZ code. CONSTITUTION:Data is passed through an AND gate 26 and an OR gate 24 in the absence of control information and then transmitted. It is passed through an AND gate 21 in the presence of the control information and ORed exclusively by an EOR gate 22 with a double clock to generate the RZ code, which is passed through an AND gate 23 and an OR gate 24 to obtained transmit data. |
