PURPOSE:To reduce residual gas in a cylinder by a large amount to aim at enhancing the efficiency of performance, by forming, at the front end of the compression side surface of a partition plate, a projection having the same shape as that of a discharge notch formed in a cylinder so that the projection may be fitted into the notch, thereby residual gas remaining in the discharge notch is thrusted out by the projection. CONSTITUTION:A discharge hole notch 15 for discharging gas compressed in a cylinder 5 into a closed-container 2 is formed in the cylinder 5, and a projection 16 having the same shape as that of the notch 15 so that the projection 15 may be fitted into the notch 15 is formed on the surface of a partition plate on the side near to the discharge hole notch 15. With this arrangement, when the compressor 1 is rotated compressed gas is discharged through the discharge hole notch 15 into the closed-container 2 in association with rotation of a roller 6. At this stage since the projection 16 on the partition plate 10 is fitted into the discharge hole notch 15 upon completion of discharge, there is no residual gas pooled in the discharge hole notch 15. Accordingly, residual gas in the cylinder 5 is reduced by a large amount, thereby it is possible to enhance the performance coefficient of the compressor 1. |
