<p>PURPOSE:To realize longitudinal/lateral conversion by using repetitively one hardware so as to rearrange regular data while taking notice that the longitudinal/lateral conversion processing is merely rearrangement of data. CONSTITUTION:In the rule of a data rearrangement, Xo,i, Xi,i (i=0, m-1) are two sets of row input data and X2,i, X3,i (i=0, m-7) are their converted output data. The conversion rule is that each bit of one input data X0 is rearranged and moved to a bit location of an even number as X0,0 to X2,0 and X0,1 to X2, 2 and also each bit of other input data X1 is rearranged and moved to a bit location of an odd number of X2, X3 as X1,0 to X2,1 and X1,1 to X2,3. The logitudinal/lateral conversion of data such as characters and graphics is conductaed in a high speed with a comparatively simple means in this way.</p> |
