PURPOSE:To increase the transfer speed of data with simple circuit constitution by dividing data into groups each of which consists of >=2 bits and transferring the data by plural times. CONSTITUTION:A command (a) consisting of 8 bits, 0-7, is divided so that 2 bits; 7 and 6, 5 and 4, 3 and 2, 1 and 0; constitute one group and 4 groups constitute one byte. Namely, the command of one byte is transferred by dividing it into 2 bits each 4 times; 2 bits are outputted, right shift is repeated twice, the succeeding 2 bits are outputted and then right shift is repeated twice. Said operation is repeated four times to output 8 bits (1 byte). Therefore, the intermediate data transfer method between parallel transfer and serial transfer is obtained. |
