PURPOSE:To apply efficiently large liquid resistance and to minimize leaking current as far as possible by dropping the liquid discharging from a bipolar salt electrolysis cell of an ion exchange mambrane type through the insertion pipe on the side face of each dropping plate and through the dropping plates into a receiving cell in the form of drops for each of the respective unit electrolytic cells. CONSTITUTION:Plural dropping plates 3 which are inserted therein with perforated insertion members 10 and have plural dropping holes 8 exist respectively independently without being electrically connected to each other in the upper part of an integrated liquid receiving tank 6. The plates 3 and insertion pipes 4 which are inserted therein from the side faces thereof, are connected from unit electrolytic cells and are provided by one for each of the plates 3 exist dividedly from the respective tanks 6 and are united to one unit in the stage of use. The liquid contg. gas discharged from each unit electrolytic cell flows through the pipings 4 to the plates 3 where the gas is separated and is discharged through an outlet 2. The liquid passes through the holes 8 and falls in the form of drops into the tank 6 by which the drops are parted and large liquid resistance is applied thereto. |
