PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which suspends and removes the oxide, scum, etc. in a molten metal and cleans the surface of a hot dipping bath by providing a U-shaped tubular vessel having an overflow part for the molten metal enclosing the outlet part for a plating material at one end and a feed port for the molten metal in the position higher than the bath surface of the overflow part at the other end in the plating bath. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped tubular vessel 9 having an overflow part 10 for a molten metal or alloy 3 enclosing the outlet part 10 for a plating material 1 at one end and a feed port for the metal (alloy) 3 in the position higher than the bath surface of the overflow part at the other end is provided in a plating bath 2. The head between the bath surface of the feed port and the bath surface of the overflow part 10 is thus made constant and therefore the flow at which the molten metal flows out of the overflow part 10 is maintained constant. The bath surface of the part 10 is thereby stabilized without oscillation and the oxide, scum, etc. in the molten metal can be floated on the bath surface in the feed port and removed. The bath surface in the outlet part 10 of the material 1 is thus made clean and the plating material 1 having the clean and smooth surface is obtd. without sticking of the oxide, scum, etc. on the plating surface. |
