PURPOSE:To obtain a zinc layer reflecting light from the headlights of a car or the like by hot galvanization by dipping an article to be hot galvanized in a hot galvanizing bath contg. glass beads while stirring the bath. CONSTITUTION:Glass beads which are lighter in weight than zinc are put in a hot galvanizing bath, and an article to be hot-galvanized is dipped in the bath while stirring the bath. A zinc layer 4 contg. glass beads 3 is formed on the surface of the iron base 1. When the hot galvanized article is attached to a guardrail, a protective fence for a sidewalk or the like, the presence is clearly recognized by a driver because light from the headlights of an automobile or the like is reflected, so accidents can be reduced. |
