PURPOSE:A continuous reactor wherein a great number of membrane modules are set in a step state around a hollow revolving shaft laid in the reactor, materials fed to the reactor are stirred by them and reacted, a reaction product is taken out, and clogging is dissolved by rotating the modules when it occurs. CONSTITUTION:The hollow revolving shaft 1 is set in the reactor 22, it is provided with a great number of the membrane modules 5 in a step state, and the outlet pipe 24 for a solution permeated from the membrane is laid at the end of the hollow revolving shaft 1. The stock solution 26 of a substrate solution and an enzyme or microorganism is fed to the reactor 22 by the pump 21 and the feed pipe 23, and a reaction is carried out with stirring by rotating the revolving shaft 1 and the membrane modules 5 slowly. The reaction product is separated from the membrane module 5 and taken out. When clogging occurs in the membrane modules 5, they are rotated at high speed and clogging is dissolved.
