PURPOSE:To obtain inexpensively roasted laver having good taste and improved luster even by the use of dried laver having poor quality as a raw material, by blending a seasoning solution comprising soup such as dried bonito, etc., SAKE (fermented rice wine), etc. with an aqueous solution of gum arabic to give an adjusting solution, applying it to both sides of roasted laver. CONSTITUTION:First, soup of dried bonito, prawns, or seaweeds is blended with SAKE and a chemical seasoning to give a seasoning solution, which is mixed with an aqueous solution of gum arabic to give an adjusting solution. The adjusting solution is extruded from the extrusion pipe 7 and impregnated into the top and bottom sponge rollers 3 and 4. The dried laver 11 is roasted by the roaster 1, passed through the top and bottom sponge rollers 3 and 4, both sides of the dried laver are coated with the adjusting solution, and roasted by the laver roaster 2, to give roasted laver. |
