PURPOSE:To reduce the maximum temperatue of a core between ducts at the exhaust side by forming to increase the duct pitch of an intake side and to decrease the duct pitch of an exhaust side. CONSTITUTION:A vent duct 2 which is divided into an intake zone P and an exhaust zone Q is provided in the laminating direction of a stator core 1, coolant such as, for example, cooling air is fed to the duct 2 to cool the core 1 and a stator coil wound on the core 1. Then, the duct pitches W3, W4 of the intake and exhaust sides are so formed as to increase the pitch W2 of the intake side and to decrease the pitch W4 of the exhaust side. Thus, the maximum temperature of a core 1b between the ducts 2 of the exhaust side can be reduced in a stator of a rotary electric machine. |
