PURPOSE:To shorten a work time by inserting an optical fiber which has exposed a bare wire by stripping off a core wire by a necessary quantity, from an opening end of a sleeve, projecting the bare wire from and opposite side of the sleeve, and fixing it to the sleeve by a rapid hardening resin. CONSTITUTION:A bare wire 4 is exposed by stripping off a core wire 3 of the end part of an optical fiber by a necessary quantity. An adhesive agent 2 is packed in the inside of a sleeve 1, the core wire 3 and the base wire 4 of the optical fiber are inserted from an opening part 1c of the sleeve 1, an end part 4a of the bare wire 4 is projected by a prescribed length from an end face 1a of the sleeve 1, and the end part 4a and the end face 1a of the sleeve 1 are made to adhere to each other by a rapid hardening resin 8. Also, the core wire 3 and the sleeve 1 are clamped by caulking the wall surface of the sleeve 1. Subsequently, an end face 4b of the bare wire 4 is polished so as to become the same surface as the end face 1a of the sleeve 1. In this way, polishing can be executed before the adhesive agent 2 is hardened, and the work time can be shortened. |
