PURPOSE:To offer continuous exchange services for subscribers even when one network has troubles by providing a switching device which allows subscriber's incoming and outgoing from either plural networks. CONSTITUTION:Two networks NW014 and NW115 belong to the same exchange unit EX10, and are driven by respective channel drive devices SC0 and SC117. General subscribers SUB0 and SUB111 are contained in either two networks 14 and 15, but an important subscriber SUBA12 is generally contained in one network 15. When the network 14 stops its exchange services, the important subscriber SUBA12 is contained in the other network 15 through a switching device 13, which is driven by a switching drive device TC16. A channel drive device 17 and a switching drive device 16 are controlled by exchange programs stored in a central processing unit CPRE19 through a signal distributor SRD18. |
