PURPOSE:To allow a knowledge base management system to extract automatically an object data through an associative retrieval or synonym processing by allowing a user to designate optionally a retrieval condition or an item desired to be retrieved even if the content of the knowledge base is unknown. CONSTITUTION:In the retrieval processing of ''program name, station name and time for a singer'', the content of the inquiry of the user is divided into the item name and item data. The ''program name'' is listed up as the item name and when this is taken as the main item, ''performance of a signer'' ''station name'' and ''time'' are listed up as attributive items. As the item data, ''singer'' is corresponded to ''performance''. After the decoding in this way, the user forms a retrieval command message. In this system, it is possible to improve gradually the quality of the retrieval result by storing the path of retrieval as a rule. |
