PURPOSE:To determine easily a net point area rate of each color print by selecting color information which is the most similar to the color information derived by a color measuring means, from the color information of a color information - net point area rate converting table, and outputting the net point area rate. CONSTITUTION:A color information data of an object to be measured is derived by a color measuring means 20, and stored temporarily in a storage means 30. A selecting means 40 compares color information of a color information - net point area rate converting table stored in a storage means 10 with the color information stored in a storage means 30, and selects that which is the most similar to color information of the object to be measured, from in the color information - net point area rate converting table. A net point area rate corresponding to color information selected by a color information selecting means 40 is outputted by a net point area rate output means 60. |
