PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease in image density when humidity is high or in the stage of repeating copying by adding an aluminum coupling agent as a fluidizing agent to an insulating toner thereby forming a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum coupling agent such as acetoalkoxy aluminum diisopropylate or the like expressed by the formula (in the formula, R' denotes hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms) is used as a fluidizing agent and is added to an insulating toner, by which a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image is obtd. The above-described insulating toner is prepd. by dispersing a coloring agent into a thermoplastic resin and compounding further an oil soluble dye consisting a chromium alloy, etc. as an electric charge controlling agent therewith. Since the toner is used as a magnetic toner, the incorporation of powder of a ferromagnetic metal such as iron, cobalt or the like into the toner is made possible. |
