PURPOSE:To obtain a dispersion superior in time lapse stability by mixing the first soln. of a high-boiling org. solvent dissolving a polymer polymerized in the presence of hydrophobic photographic additives, with the second soln. contg. a hydrophilic colloidal binder. CONSTITUTION:A hydrophilic colloidal binder contg. hydrophobic photographic additives is prepared by mixing the first soln. contg. a polymer polymerized at least in the presence of the hydrophobic photographic additives with the second soln. contg. the hydrophilic colloidal binder. A support is coated with the hydrophilic colloidal binder and photographic constituent layers are laminated to form a silver halide photosensitive material. As said hydrophobic additives, a hydrophobic coupler, a UV absorber, an antioxidant, etc., are enumerated. The high- boiling solvent substantially immiscible with water and having a b.p. of >175 deg.C at normal pressure is used for said solvent. |
