Sliding-door plinth bar with a door structure to be fastened on it, with a displacement guide restricted for only a small part of the longitudinal extension and consisting of at least two sets of rollers, and with a drive-motor unit, the output member of which is connected to a driving member which extends in the longitudinal direction of the plinth bar and the drive-movement transmission of which is made positive, virtually independent of temperature, uninfluenced by shifts in the course of the door displacement travel, robust in respect of weather influences and wear, of low maintenance and above all, silent, in that the driving member is designed as a toothed belt which is held prestressed at both ends on the door and plinth bar respectively and which is guided by means of at least one deflecting roller so as to loop round an output pinion of the drive-motor unit. |
