For a vending machine having individually driven ejection mechanisms underneath each vertically arranged product shaft, there are described space-saving modes of construction for the ejection mechanisms, the best possible design of the ejectors moved in them and circuits which make it possible to use the ejectors as an extraction safeguard for product packs standing by. The invention furthermore describes new expedient arrangements of such individual shaft elements within a vending-machine housing, resulting in a maximum utilisation of space.
