The invention relates to an arrangement for measuring the wheel loads of rapidly moving rail vehicles, having a plurality of measurement points provided at a spacing from one another along the rails of a track, each measurement point having at least one strain gauge mounted directly on the web of the rail at the level of the neutral fibre and orthogonal thereto, and measuring amplifiers being assigned to the strain gauges. In order to reduce the outlay on technical apparatus and thus the number of sources of error, the measurement points of the two rails are to be arranged offset with respect to one another in the direction of the track, and the strain gauges of in each case two measurement points of the track which follow one another in the direction of the track are to be connected to the same measuring amplifier. <IMAGE>
