Central-locking system of a motor vehicle

What is proposed is a central-locking system which can be actuated by a pressure medium and which serves for locking and unlocking coverable apertures preferably on a motor vehicle. The system comprises as a pressure generator a pump which can be driven with reversible direction of rotation and which is operatively connected to at least one also manually actuable working cylinder. The pump generates the necessary working pressure in one direction of rotation and is cut off as soon as this is reached. In order thereafter to match the pressure in the system quickly to the ambient pressure (atmospheric pressure), a valve is arranged in the system and opens the latter to the atmosphere.
