PURPOSE:To charge a stroboscope only when stroboscopic light is necessary, by making the stroboscope outout a charge starting signal in interlocking with a photographing preparing operation, only when the stroboscope is uncharged and also an object to be photographed is in a low luminance level. CONSTITUTION:A battery 1 is used as a power source of a shutter circuit 30, a winding circuit 32 and a stroboscopic circuit A. A controlling circuit C controls to start charge of a stroboscope. When the stroboscopic circuit A is in an uncharged state, and also an exposure controlling circuit B is detecting low luminance of an object to be photographed or a back light detecting circuit 40 is detecting a back light; a start use transistor 110 of the stroboscopic circuit A is turned on by the first stroke of a release button, and the output of an OR gate 350 in this state is at L, therefore, a transistor 100 is off, and accordingly, a DC-DC converter is started to charge the stroboscope. |
