In the hinge, a fixed hinge part and a hinge part which is movable relative thereto are connected to one another via a pivot axle. Additionally, an adjusting and fixing device is provided which determines the position of the two hinge parts relative to one another, is constructed as a gearing mechanism having at least one inner gearwheel and at least one outer gearwheel meshing therewith, and has a rotatable eccentric arranged on the pivot axle. The outer gearwheel and the inner gearwheel are constructed as cup wheels assigned to the hinge parts, the one cup wheel having an annular shell which is toothed on the outside and the other cup wheel having an annular shell which is toothed on the inside. In order to maintain smooth operation of the adjusting device in this hinge when it is adjusted and, on the other hand, to eliminate the radial play in the adjusted state, the annular shells of the cup wheels bearing the toothings are constructed as converging frustoconical portions, one frustoconical portion of which has an outer bevel gear toothing while the other frustoconical portion has an inner bevel gear toothing which is engaged with the outer bevel gear toothing.
