System for the continuous production of a pre-compressed mat of moulding material in the course of producing chipboards, fibreboards and similar wood-based material boards with a scattering machine, a moulding line arranged below the scattering machine with a continuously moved, air-permeable scattering belt, a combing roll arranged downstream of the scattering machine and a continuous pre-press. The continuous pre-press has an endlessly circulating upper pressing belt and is equipped with a deaerating device. The deaerating device is disposed below the air-permeable scattering belt. The upper pressing belt forms a vacuum-tight covering of the mat of moulding material to be deaerated at least in the region of the deaerating device. <IMAGE>
