PURPOSE:To simplify the structure while to reduce the size, weight and cost by controlling two clutches in power transmission system independently through control of stopper member based on forward/reverse rotation of motor and by means of single electromagnetic member. CONSTITUTION:When applying in a power transmission mechanism 9 for heat transfer printer, first clutch or paper feed clutch 23 is constructed with a curved paper feed clutch click 19, paper feed clutch board 20 having a hole 20d for inserting a shaft 19a projecting from one end, etc. While second clutch or head cam clutch 30 is constructed with a head clutch click 26, head clutch board 27, etc. Under forward rotation of motor, stop control member or shift gear 15 will catch the clutch 23 by means of stopper member or changeover lever 34 while under reverse rotation, it will catch the clutch 30. Under operation of an electromagnet 34, both clutches 23, 30 are controlled by means of the control member 31.
