<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method for removing H2S in methane fermentation gas requiring no exchange of an absorbing solution, by absorbing H2S in fermentation gas with the absorbing solution while oxidizing said absorbing solution by air before recirculating and reuse the same. CONSTITUTION:Methane fermentation gas is introduced into a first gas absorbing apparatus 1 from an inlet 5 and subjected to gas-liquid contact with water sprinkled from a water sprinkling cylinder 3 to absorb and remove a part of H2S and CO2 in the gas. The treated methane fermentation gas is guided to combustion machinery and H2S-absorbed water is sent to a second gas absorbing tower 10 while air bubbles are separated in a water storage tank 21 and sprinkled from a water sprinkling cylinder 12. Water absorbs and dissolves oxygen in air while falls through a filter material 16 and dissolved H2S is oxidized to form fine sulfur particles. Fine particles precipitated in a water storage tank 22 is appropriately taken out while water, from which H2S is removed, is returned to the gas absorbing apparatus 1 from the water storage tank 22 through piping 19 to be recirculated and reused.</p> |
