PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having a good electromagnetic-wave- shielding effect and mechanical properties, and excellent flame resistance, by adding an ethylene-propylene terpolymer to a specified copolymer, carbon fibers, a halogen-containing organic flame retardant, and a flame-retarding assistant. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition comprising 35-75wt% ethylenically unsaturated nitrile-diene rubber-aromatic vinyl copolymer or its mixture with an ethylenic unsaturated nitrile-aromatic vinyl copolymer (A), 2-20wt% ethylene- propylene terpolymer (B), 5-40wt% carbon fibers (C), 2-30wt% halogen-containing organic flame retardant (D), and 0.4-18wt% flame-retarding assistant (E). If necessary, an antioxidant, a stabilizer, an internal lubricant. An external lubricant, a plasticizer, etc. may also be added to the resin composition. An ethylene-propylene terpolymer to be used most preferably consists of 60-70mol% ethylene, 30-40mol% propylene, and 0.5-5mol% unsaturated component. |
