PURPOSE:To obtain a patterned synthetic resin board having a pattern solid- looking with a clear contour by pressing a compound layer of synthetic resin granular solids with colored synthetic resin fine pieces dispersed under a specified temperature condition to fuse the compound layer with synthetic resin fine pieces by heat. CONSTITUTION:A compound layer A with synthetic resin fine pieces B dispersed as buried therein is pressed in the thickness-wise direction thereof under a specified temperature condition to melt synthetic resin granular solids of the compound layer A integral while fusing the compound layer A with the synthetic resin fine pieces B and a patterned synthetic resin board with a pattern dispersed in the synthetic resin layer is obtained. When the compound layer A made transparent makes a colored pattern by the synthetic resin fine pieces B enhanced on the surface of a transparent synthetic resin layer to develop a highly solid-looking pattern. In addition to this, light reflecting effect of the transparent resin layer creates a color-tone with ample work of transparency in the pattern, making it exquisitely glossy.
