PURPOSE:To provide the titled adhesive which requires only a very short aging time, by diluting a compsn. consisting of an unsaturated polyester, styrene and an org. peroxide with an org. solvent. CONSTITUTION:60-70pts.wt. o-phthalate unsaturated polyester resin, 30- 40pts.wt. styrene and 1-2pts.wt. org. peroxide such as methyl ethyl ketone peroxide are dissolved in an org. solvent such as ethyl acetate to obtain a dry lamination adhesive having a proper viscosity. The adhesive is suitable for use in the dry lamination of films of, e.g., polyester, nylon, polypropylene or an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. When cobalt naphthenate, a tert. amine, etc. are used together, the adhesive can be cured quickly at a lower temp.
