PURPOSE:To facilitate the flow control of fluid with the use of a single control panel to aim at reducing the required number of component parts and the cost of production for a heater, by disposing a single fluid distributor valve at a branch-off point for cooling pipe lines connected to a plurality of heater cores to control the supply amount of cooling water. CONSTITUTION:When a valve element 3 in the valve body casing 2 of a flow distributor valve 1 rotates in the direction C, variations in the flow rate of cooling water due to variations in opening degrees set between the ports 21 through 23 of the casing 2 and the ports 35 through 37 in a cooling water passage 34 are set such that the flow rate of cooling water for the rear heater core 13 gradually increases in the vicinity of the time point when the flow rate of cooling water for the front heater core 12 reaches its maximum value. Further, the valve element 3 may be rotated by a desired angle by manipulating a control knob 43 on a heater control panel 43 in an instrument board 15, and therefore, cooling water flowing through the fluid distributor valve 1 is distributed to the front and rear heater cores 12, 13. Further, in view of the fact that the flow rates of cooling water flowing through the front and rear cores 12, 13 are proportional to the heat radiation amounts of the cores 12, 13, the heating capacities of the front and rear heater cores 12, 13 may be determined on a single control panel by controlling the flow rates of cooling water in the cores 12, 13 and the air flow rate of a blower. |
