COAL BURNING AIR HEATING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To enable a variation of coal burning to be corrected by a method wherein an auxiliary burner is mounted at a hot air out-taking duct of a stoker type coal burning furnace and a combustion is controlled by the auxiliary burner in such a way as a temperature in the hot air out-taking duct becomes a desired temperature. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary burner 9 for burning liquid or gaseous fuel is arranged at a hot gas duct 13 acting as a hot air out-taking part arranged at the upper part of a stoker coal burning furnace, a thermometer 14 for measuring a temperature of hot air is arranged at a suitable position of the hot gas duct 13, thereby a combustion condition caused by an auxiliary burner 9 is controlled in response to a temperature at the hot air out-taking part through a temperature setting unit 15 and a flow rate adjusting automatic valve 11 so as to generate a hot air of specified temperature.
