PURPOSE:To make it possible to surely attach component parts in a way excellent in supporting stability, by constituting stays for a fuel tank with a first stay secured to a lid and a second stay which is connected to the first stay, slidably in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:Even though errors in fabrication of a tank body 1 and errors in fabrication and assembly of a lid and a first stay 8 exist, either the lower end of a second stay 9 or a feed pump 14 is grounded to a tank bottom wall 3. The vertical sliding movement of the second stay 9 on the first stay 8 may absorb the afore-mentioned errors so that the positions of the suction port 14a of the pump 14, a remaining quantity detector 13 and a fuel gauge unit 12 from the bottom wall 3 of the tank may be made constant. Since these internal functioning component parts are laid bridging between the upper wall 2 and the bottom wall 3 of the tank, the attachment thereof may be surely arranged in a way excellent in attaching stability. |
