PURPOSE:To spin a particular yarn giving a woven cloth having soft and bulky feeling, by increasing the speed of back roller to increase the feed of roving, and retaining the roving in a drafting part to form a slub. CONSTITUTION:The commands to form the slubs 52 at regular intervals on the yarn with standard fineness are set in the program to be inputted into the electrical controlling apparatus 39. When the command is read by the controller 39, the second servo motor 24 is accelerated to form a slub 52 on the spun yarn. The back roller 16 is accelerated according to the acceleration of the motor 24, and the roving is retained in the drafting part to effect the lowering of the drafting ratio.
