PURPOSE:To discharge the ink in an ink sump within an extremely short time when order exchange is performed, by providing a blade moving in the ink sump. CONSTITUTION:A blade 15 made of Teflon is arranged in an ink sump 3 and the movement of said blade 15 is controlled by a control apparatus such as a computer for controlling printing operation. When ink is exchanged with order exchange, the blade 15 is moved from one to the other in the ink sump 3 or moved reciprocally while not only a printing cylinder 4 but also an anilox roll 1 and a doctor roll 2 are stopped or at least the anilox roll 1 and the doctor roll 2 are rotated to the direction shown by the arrow B reverse to that at the time of printing and the ink 6 in the ink sump 3 is scraped off and recovered in recovery ducts 7, 8. Therefore, the ink 6 in the ink sump 3 is recovered almost perfectly. |
