PURPOSE:To prevent printing ink from getting into insufficiency of heating even if printing paper is fed or new ink is replenished by fastening the rising in the temp. of ink replating to printing by directly heating said ink, by providing a heat generator in closely contacted relation to a reticulated cylinder. CONSTITUTION:In the titled plate cylinder having a heat generator 4 printed by conductive heat generating ink, a recticulated cylindrical body 2, which formed by providing a large number of small through-holes 6, 6... to a metal plate or a synthetic resin film by drilling, is secured to the outer peripheries of a pair of side cylinders 5, 5 and to the outer periphery of said reticulated cylindrical body 2, an insulating layer 10 is further provided at first if said cylindrical body 2 is made of a metal and the conductive heat generating ink is superposed on said insulating layer 10 by curved surface printing to form the heat generator 4 which is, in turn, further integrally covered by an insulating layer 10. If the reticulated cylindrical body 2 is made of a heat resistance resin material, the insulating layer 10 is omitted and said cylindrical body 2 is directly printed by the conductive heat generating ink and only the upper surface thereof may be covered by an insulating layer. By this mechanism, because the ink relating to printing is directly heated, printing can be instantaneously printed at any temp. under an optimum condition and a printed article with good quality can be obtained. |
