PURPOSE:To make a uniform heating of a dead angle part of a pig iron through by a method wherein an inverse ejection port having an axis inclined at a certain angle in respect to an ejecting direction of an axis of a main ejection port is arranged near the extremity end of the main ejection port. CONSTITUTION:An inverse jection port 7 which is different from that of a main ejection port is arranged near the extremity end 6 of the main ejection port. A direction of the inverse ejection port is set to show an inclined axis of 45-135 deg. in respect to an ejecting direction of the main ejection port. As a result, a vortex is produced at a part of the hot air flowing in the main ejection port and an inverse directed hot air with a proper flow rate can be attained from the inverse ejection port 7. With this arrangement, it is possible to make a uniform heating of the rear part 5 of the ejection port.
