PURPOSE:To miniaturize the control part and to speed up the seek moving control by driving and controlling a voice coil motor with an error signal between a reference position data and a real position data. CONSTITUTION:When a voice coil motor is operated by a seek operation instruction, a track passing pulse is generated 5 based on a read signal from a servo head 1, counted 7 and fetched to an MPU8. Further, a position signal is generated 4 based on a read signal from the head 1. The MPU8 compares a reference position data in a memory 9 with the position signal and a real position data obtained from the track passing pulse and outputs an error signal at each count cycle. The signal is applied with D/A conversion so as to control the drive of the voice coil motor. |
