MANUFACTURE OF TRANSMISSION TYPE PROJECTION SCREEN

PURPOSE:To easily obtain a transmission type projection screen which has a colored film superior in aperture precision by forming a photosensitive resin film uniformly on the observation surfaces of a screen body consisting fine convex lens surfaces, and exposing the film and then performing coloring processing and development. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive resin film 10 is stacked on the observation surface of the transmission type projection screen body 7 which has fine convex lens surfaces 6a and 6b on the projection surface and observation surfaces, and the air pressure in the space formed between the photosensitive resin film 10 and screen body 7 is held lower than the external pressure to bring the photosensitive resin film 10 into contact with the observation surface. Then, light is emitted from the projection surface side of the screen body 7 to expose the photosensitive resin film 10 of a light transmission part. Then, the photosensitive resin film 10 is colored except at the exposed part by using coloring particulates and the exposed part of the photosensitive resin film 10 is removed from the observation surface by using a developer to obtain the transmission type projection screen having the desired colored film.
