PURPOSE:To provide a water-soluble cutting oil having excellent lubricating properties, rust-preventive properties and emulsion stability and capable of prolonging the service life of tools and reducing cutting cost, by incorporating a specific sulfide and polysulfide. CONSTITUTION:The titled oil is prepared by incorporating in 1-80wt% of a main agent comprising a sulfide or polysulfide of the formula [wherein R1-R2 is a 1-18C alkyl(allyl); and n is 1-8] (e.g. di-t-dodecyltrisulfide) a stock solution containing machine oil, rape seed oil, surface active agent, rust-preventive agent, antifoamer, antiseptic, water, etc. |
