PURPOSE:To prevent the external appearance of a house from marring and prevent the connecting element from deterioration by a method wherein a connecting element for connecting an outdoor device and an indoor device is inserted through a hollow decorative frame. CONSTITUTION:A connecting element 3 which connects the outdoor device 1 installed at outside and the indoor device 2 installed in a room is inserted through a hollow decorative frame 4 installed on the outside wall of a house. The decorative frame 4 is fixed on a sash 6b of a window 6 located on the border between a wall 5 and a glass sliding door 6a of the window 6. The decorative frame is hollow structure, the connecting element 3 is inserted through thereof. A refrigeration medium piping 31 of the connecting element 3 and a cable 32 are covered with an insulating material 34. Thus, the hollow decorative frame 4 fixed on the house is utilized as an outer wall design, and the connecting element 3 is inserted through the hollow decorative frame 4, accordingly, the external appearance is not marred. As the connecting element 3 is inserted through the decorative frame 4, the connecting element can be prevented from exposing to the wind and rain, consequently, the deterioration of the connecting element can be reduced. |
