<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the memory access times and to increase the data processing speed by providing a table memory which stores the sampling patterns of each magnification ratio in the form of bits and therefore controlling the vertical magnification ratio by the sampling bit referred to out of said table memory. CONSTITUTION:A data processing system uses an IPU board 30 consisting of a CPU32, an IPU34, a program memory 36 and a memory 38. In this processing system, the horizontal magnification ratio is varied by the board 30. While the vertidal magnification ratio is varied by a table applying a regular sampling method allocated to a part of the memory 36. Then the memory occupation quantity with which the sampling and magnification varying processing are performed is reduced. Furthermore the memory access times are decreased and the data processing speed is increased.</p> |
