PURPOSE:To improve a flaw detecting accuracy, and also to execute easily a flaw detecting work by making an ultrasonic vibrator freely adjustable as to its height against a lens, and also providing a freely deformable connecting coupling on the lower side of the vibrator. CONSTITUTION:A receiving ultrasonic vibrator 4 is installed to an upper inclined surface 2a of a lens 2 which has pinched a transmitting ultrasonic vibrator 3. Center lines O1, O2 of the vibrator 4 cross each other on the center line O of the lower part of the transmitting ultrasonic vibrator 3. An adjusting cylinder 5 is provided on the center part of the lens 2. As for this adjusting cylinder 5, its height can be adjusted in the upper and lower directions against the lens 2. A connecting coupling 7 as shown in the figure is provided on the lower part of the adjusting cylinder 5. This coupling 7 consists of an ''O'' ring 7a and thin films 7b, 7c, contains oil of a low viscosity in it, and can be deformed along a surface shape of a member to be flaw-detected. |
