PURPOSE:To simplify manufacturing processes by providing a slope part to a main body side face of a magnetic head of a magnetic disc device to ensure loading/ejection of a medium without provision of a mechanism lifting a jacket. CONSTITUTION:In loading the medium 18 covered on the jacket 17 in the direction of arrow 40, the jacket 17 is set to a prescribed position after contact with a head slider 30. Since the head slider 30 has a slope 31a to the loading direction of the medium 18, it is prevented that the tip of the jacket 17 is latched to the slider 30. In ejecting the jacket 17 (in the arrow 41), since the slider 30 has a slope 31b in the ejecting direction of the medium 18, it is prevented that the end 20 of a head window part 19 of the jacket 17 is latched to the slider 30. Thus, the medium 18 is loaded/ejected surely. |
