PURPOSE:To enable to perform multiroom air conditioning with the aid of ventilation for taking-in the open air and a duct, by a method wherein air conditioning is effected through connection of an air conditioner, installed to the outside of a room, to a room through the medium of a duct. CONSTITUTION:A suction duct 23 is connected from the front side to a position on the heat source side part 20, the utilizing side part 21 having a sirocco fan 29 which forms a fluid element is installed, a wind box 22, to which a blow-off duct 24 is connected from a front side or a top surface, is installed to the uppermost part of the utilizing side part, and a ventilation 41 is mounted to the suction duct 23. The suction duct 23 is connected through a suction grill 31, serving as a suction port, from a ceiling surface 32 to the utilizing side part 21, and the blow-off duct 24 is coupled from the front side of the wind box part 22 to a blow-off grill 35 of the ceiling surface 32. An open air taking-in device 34 is driven by a servo motor 40, controls the opening angle of a door 41 in response to a signal from a carbon dioxide, temperature, and humidity sensor part 39 located in the duct 23, and regulates an amount of the open air taken-in. The number of the suction ports and the blow-off ports and the places thereof are determined according to temperature distribution and air flow distribution, and multiroom air conditioning is effected with the aid of a duct branching part 36.
